Mr Markus Grünig established Narimpex in 1958. He wanted to create a dynamic company with a future-oriented vision. And he certainly succeeded, since Narimpex, with its production site in Biel, Switzerland, has become a supplier of honey, dried fruit and nuts of international renown.

Over the years, the management has always tried to pre-empt its customers’ needs by offering high-quality solutions, with respect for the product and people forming an integral part of company culture. Narimpex has developed sustainably and has built its reputation on honourable values such as quality, stability, a job well done, balance, a love of nature, as well as a passion for the people who work with and for the company and contribute to its success.

Our specialists travel all over the world to select raw materials whose odours, authentic flavours and nutrition are preserved from harvest to table. Our production processes not only use first-rate raw materials but also respect the product and the environment. Thanks to our own laboratory on site we can analyse each product in order to ensure exceptional quality.

For over 50 years, we have surrounded ourselves with motivated and qualified personnel who allow us to develop and therefore uphold our know-how.

Mr. Markus Grünig is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement and remains a member of the board of directors. He has passed on the sceptre to his sons Ulrich and Heinrich who, like their father in the past, are committed to managing Narimpex with a philosophy centred on the respect of people and the environment.
